Those going to convention:

Meet at the church for 5:10 on the Friday

Pack lightly as we have limited space for suitcases (keep them tiny)

Bring your pillow (and sleeping bag if you like but there is bedding)

Bring money for food - the $79 was $59 for convention, $20 for room (we usually hit subway, wendy’s etc)

Bring you bible

We are back sometime Sunday afternoon, but 6 PM pretty sure.

What if we carried it around in our purses or pockets?
What if we flipped through it several time a day?
What if we turned back to go get it if we forgot it?
What if we used it to receive messages from the text?
What if we treated it like we couldn’t live without it?
What if we gave it to Kids as gifts?
What if we used it when we traveled?
What if we used it in case of emergency?
This is something to make you go..hmm.where is my Bible?

Oh, and one more thing. Unlike our cell phone, we don’t have to worry about our Bible being disconnected because Jesus already paid the bill. Makes you stop and think “where are my priorities?

As we get into May and closer to the finish line it is still tight in the race to win the Spring Free Trampoline and the other cool prizes.  The latest points awarded have been tallied and the standings are as follows:

Tied for first is Landon Smith and Matthew Liberty!

Amanda Rogers drops to second place and is tied with Chad Glendenning just a single point off the lead.

Following with 2 points off the lead is Kristen Cameron, and one back of her is Kurt Glendenning, Mikayla Smith, Rachel Buys, and Taylor Bousquet.

Stay tuned! You never know when p.Ro will allocate points for either winning or just showing up.  On May 18th we are playing Deal or No Deal and for sure points are going to be awarded that night, as well as 2 points for going to convention!
