October is Clergy appreciation month- Clergy for us would mean Pastor Ron or PRon as some call him! We (the people that are served by our pastors) are encouraged to take some time this month and think about ways we can bless and encourage our Pastors. There are many ways we can do this from a verbal thank-you to blessing them with an act of kindness or even putting into practice what they are teaching you. This article describes 8 ways to encourage you Pastor.

Here are some of my simple suggestions:

Email - all of the pastors at Cedarview have email – send them a quick note to tell them you appreciate them – you could even send email directly to Pastor Don (or is that Pdon?)

A simple thank-you – when you have a moment alone just tell them thanks!

A small simple gift – our Pastors don’t really need our gifts but I am sure they would appreciate the gesture – you don’t need to spend a million bucks – not even ten – just them knowing you thought of them would be enough!
